In Rajasthan, the custom of changing the rule after every five years has remained intact. bharatiya janata party has
registered a bumper victory on 115 seats, overturning the power of Congress. Whereas the ruling congress could
get only 69 seats. bjp may have won a big victory in the state, but the party suffered such a setback on many seats,
which surprised not only the bjp but also its opponents. One such seat was Kishangarh in Alwar district, where
BJP fielded mp Bhagirath Chaudhary in the electoral battle.
BJP rebel defeats bjp mp in elections
Bhagirath Chaudhary not only lost the election from this seat but he could not even come second. suresh Tak, who
contested as an independent, got more votes than him. The candidate who won this seat was congress Party
candidate Vikas Chaudhary. The interesting thing is that Vikas Choudhary had rebelled against bjp and joined
Congress just two days before filing his nomination. When bjp did not give him the ticket, he joined congress and
gave bjp the taste of defeat.
Forget winning, the mp could not even come second.
Vikas Chaudhary got a total of 83,645 votes from Kishangarh assembly seat. He defeated independent candidate
Suresh Tak by 3620 votes, who stood second in Kishangarh assembly seat with 80,025 votes. At third place was
Bharatiya Janata party candidate and Ajmer mp Bhagirath Chaudhary, who got 37,534 votes.
