George Joseph said that one attacker was also killed in the firing that took place in shyam Nagar area on Tuesday
afternoon. He said that efforts are being made to identify and arrest the two accused who fled after snatching a
scooter from a person from outside Gogamedi's house. He told reporters, “Three people went to Gogamedi's
residence and told his security personnel that they wanted to meet Gogamedi. The security personnel took him
inside where he talked to Gogamedi for ten minutes. After this, they opened fire on them. Joseph said
Gogamedi's security personnel were also shot, while naveen Singh Shekhawat, one of the three accused, also died
in the firing. According to him, after the incident, two attackers came out of the house and snatched the scooter
from a person and ran away.
The injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital
The police Commissioner said that naveen Shekhawat was driving the car by which the three reached
Gogamedi's residence in shyam Nagar. He says that according to primary information, naveen Shekhawat used
to run a shop. Joseph said that the injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. He told, “The entire incident
was recorded on CCTV. We are trying to identify and trace the two accused involved in the incident. Those
plotting the murder will also be caught.”
