
CM Siddaramaiah, former Chief Ministers BS Yeddyurappa, HD Kumaraswamy, actress and mp sumalatha Ambarish have condoled the demise of renowned kannada actress Leelavati.
Renowned kannada and South indian film actress Leelavati passed away on friday at the age of 85. Lilavati, who was suffering from senile illness for the past one month, took a turn for the worse on friday afternoon. Attempts were made to immediately admit him to the hospital, but he passed away on the way. cm Siddaramaiah, former CMs BS Yeddyurappa, HD Kumaraswamy, actress and mp sumalatha Ambarish, DCM DK Sivakumar tweeted their condolence over the death of the actress.

Just last week, after hearing about his illness, I visited his home and spoke to his son Vinod raj to inquire about his health. I pray for eternal peace to the deceased's soul and strength for his family to bear this grief," cm Siddaramaiah tweeted.
