Relief materials worth Rs 17.60 lakh crore have been collected from 34 districts of tamil Nadu and distributed to the flood affected areas. It has been announced that the tamil Nadu government has provided Rs 17.60 crore relief items to the people affected by Cyclone Mikjam. In a press release issued by the tamil Nadu government in this regard, it is stated that so far more than 10 lakh drinking water bottles, more than 3 lakh bread packets and more than 13 lakh biscuit packets have been distributed to the people affected by Mikjam storm and floods.
                              
 
Also, the tamil Nadu government has said that 73 tons of milk powder, 4.35 lakh kg of rice and more than 23 thousand kg of gram flour etc. have been provided to the affected people. It is reported that relief materials worth 17.60 lakh crore rupees have been collected from 34 districts of tamil Nadu and distributed in 15 mandals of chennai and the flood affected areas of Thiruvallur, kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts.
 
Also, the tamil Nadu government has mentioned that 50 lakhs worth of goods have been collected through the notified whatsapp number for providing relief goods and they are also distributing them to the public in the affected areas. Earlier, tamil Nadu chief minister M.K.Stalin announced that relief aid of Rs.6000 will be given to flood-affected people in 4 districts including Chennai. An important announcement about who will get these relief items is also expected to be released today (Monday).
