After the recently concluded 5 state assembly elections, anticipation for next year's lok sabha elections has increased. In the 5 state elections called as a preview for the 2024 general elections, the bjp has formed the government with a landslide victory in 3 states. The bjp, which retained power in Madhya Pradesh, has wrested power from the congress in chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. With the general elections just a few months away, the BJP-led nda continues to campaign on the Modi wave. On the other hand, the All india Alliance of Opposition parties has failed to portray their alliance's prime ministerial candidate. West bengal Chief minister and TMC chief mamata banerjee announced that she has nominated congress leader mallikarjun Kharge as the prime minister of her alliance at the 4th meeting in New Delhi. AAP convenor and delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal also supported Mamata's view.

Meanwhile, ABP and CVoter reached out to the people of the state and conducted a poll to find out who they would choose as prime minister, congress President rahul gandhi or prime minister Narendra Modi.

Among those polled, 59 percent voted for PM Modi, 32 percent voted for rahul gandhi, and 4 percent of them said they would vote for neither. 5% did not want to comment. Accordingly, in the 10 states where the survey was conducted, we can now see who has the support of the people between prime minister Modi and rahul Gandhi.
