For their convenience, special trains are being operated by the Railway Department and special buses are also
being operated by the Transport Department. It has been announced on behalf of the tamil Nadu government that
more than 16 thousand buses will be operated across tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, Southern Railway has announced a special train from chennai to southern districts.
Similarly, a special train will be run from Tuticorin to tambaram on 15th and 17th. This train departs
from Thoothukudi at 6 AM and reaches tambaram at 8:30 PM. It has been announced that this train will have
22 unreserved coaches and two second class coaches.
This train reaches Thoothukudi via Chengalpattu, Melmaruvathur, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai,
Kumbakonam.
