In the meeting of DMD district secretaries regarding the parliamentary election alliance, the majority of the district secretaries insisted that there should be no alliance with the bjp and an alliance with the AIADMK.

As the parliamentary elections are approaching, each party can win in whichever constituency it contests, and it is showing a tendency to negotiate with the alliance parties and buy more seats. Apart from the DMK alliance in tamil Nadu, AIADMK and bjp have not yet decided on an alliance. So the AIADMK and bjp are competing to pull the BMC and DMD which are strong in the northern and southern districts to strengthen their alliance. But both the parties have not taken any decision till now. Despite this, they have informed the bjp and AIADMK leaders about their wishes.

In this situation, a meeting of DMUDika district secretaries was held in Chennai. In this meeting, the election alliance was discussed. At that time, most of the district secretaries urged Premalatha to form an alliance with the AIADMK. They have said that they should not only keep in mind the upcoming parliamentary elections but also consider the assembly elections. So they have requested to form alliance with AIADMK. At the same time, other parties have urged us to form an alliance with the party that gives us the constituencies we want.
