Reportedly the first round of bjp meeting has been held in delhi to decide the names for 29 lok sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh. In the last two days, Union home minister amit shah spoke on the lok sabha seat-wise panel with the leaders of madhya pradesh at the party headquarters in Delhi. It is said that the first list of bharatiya janata party for the lok sabha elections will be released soon. In madhya pradesh also, names of three to 10 candidates may be included in this. There is also news of intense lobbying by the contenders for tickets in BJP.
Meanwhile highly placed sources of bjp say that on the seats where the picture is clear, single names have been proposed. Similarly, where there is more than one claimant, further discussion will take place. However, in some seats, surprising names from outside the panel may also emerge. Talking about jabalpur lok sabha seat, it is being said that the names of Public Works minister rakesh singh along with State General Secretary ashish Gontia and prashant Pol are in the panel.
Moreover rakesh singh has also been a four-time mp from jabalpur and after winning the assembly elections in november 2023, he left the membership of Lok Sabha. Apart from this, names of former madhya pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Vinod Gontia, Dr. Pawan Sthapak associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and another woman leader are also in discussion for lok sabha ticket. Similarly, Mandla can once again express confidence in Union minister Faggan Singh Kulaste. Although, Kulaste had lost the assembly elections in 2023 from Niwas seat of Mandla district, but due to lack of any strong leader on this tribal seat, the party is planning to gamble on Kulaste once again.
