Accordingly All india Mahila congress chief Alka Lamba has expressed concern about the crimes against women taking place in the country. Looking at the cases of rape, he even demanded that a law should be brought to make the criminals who commit rape impotent. The chief of All india Mahila congress also worked to corner the bjp led central government on this issue. Alka Lamba also raised the issue of bjp leader Brij bhushan Sharan Singh.

Meanwhile Alka Lamba alleged that crimes against women, especially girls, have increased. These crimes have gone out of control because leaders, ministers and MPs associated with the ruling bjp are involved in them. He told reporters, 'BJP's double engine governments (at the Center and in the state) are working to save them. These governments should set up fast track and special courts to hear rape cases involving minor victims in two to three months.

The head of All india Mahila congress said, 'The culprits of rape should be hanged. A law should be made to make them impotent. Unless fear is created among the criminals, crimes will continue to happen like this. He said, 'Congress will continue to work to provide justice to rape victims while bjp sheds crocodile tears for women.' Alka Lamba claimed that bjp mp and former Wrestling Federation of india (WFI) chief Brij bhushan Singh has been accused of sexual harassment by many female wrestlers, but he is roaming freely while the victims are demanding justice. He alleged that Sandeshkhali accused Sheikh Shahjahan has been arrested, but Brij bhushan is being treated like a VIP.
