'Caste-based census, Bharat Ratna to Yashwantrao Chavan, and...'?

The manifesto of Ajit Pawar's party ncp has been released today in Maharashtra. ajit pawar himself has released the manifesto in the party office. While releasing the manifesto of the ncp party, many big leaders including ncp leader Chhagan Bhujbal, Praful Patel, and baba Siddiqui were seen on the stage. This year, ajit pawar is giving competition to his uncle sharad pawar in the lok sabha elections.

What is in the ncp manifesto?

Nationalist congress party (NCP) chief ajit pawar has made many promises to the people in his party's manifesto. Which highlighted that it would support the demand for a caste-based census, an issue that its ally bjp is ignoring. Addressing a meeting here, the deputy chief minister said that the ncp will also demand Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian award, for the late former maharashtra Chief minister and Defense minister Yashwantrao Chavan.

Pawar said that our party believes in the right to live as a human being irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. It believes in equality and unity. ncp has faith in the statement of social reformer Sane Guruji, 'To love the world is the true religion.' We have to bring the deprived and backward sections of society into the mainstream. It has been said in the manifesto, that we will demand a caste-based census.

Pawar said that once the party comes to power, it will demand a caste-based census. NCP's former ally congress is demanding a caste-based census across the country, while bjp is looking for ways to counter it. He said the ncp is a component of the Mahayuti alliance which includes shiv sena and BJP. He said other demands of the party include giving semi-English status to urdu medium schools in the state and minimum support price for agricultural produce. The ncp chief also praised prime minister Narendra Modi's contribution to the country in the last ten years. His leadership and Modi's leadership will ensure our victory in the elections. There is no one in the opposition who can compete with him. “He is the face of NDA.”
