Tihar Jail is lying about my health: Arvind Kejriwal!

Arvind kejriwal says that the tihar jail administration is lying about his health condition and that he needs insulin daily. delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal has expressed displeasure with the recent report issued by the tihar jail administration regarding his health. He said that he is a diabetic and requires insulin daily due to high blood sugar level. Earlier, arvind kejriwal, who is in judicial custody in the delhi liquor policy case, had a video-conference consultation with AIIMS doctors on april 20, tihar jail sources said. Meanwhile, arvind kejriwal has written a letter to the Superintendent of tihar jail, alleging that his glucose meter readings are in the dangerous range of 250 to 320 and that the jail administration is lying about his health due to political pressure. Also, kejriwal rejected the report given by AIIMS doctors that his health is fine and there is nothing to worry about. He has made it clear that his doctors will provide details about his history of health problems. The aam aadmi party recently accused the Tihar administration of refusing to provide insulin to kejriwal and conspiring to kill him. Meanwhile, the tihar jail administration arranged a video conference on april 20, following the request of Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal. At that time, Kejriwal's glucose level, food, and medication details were checked while he was in jail. Ources in tihar jail say that kejriwal did not say anything about the issue of insulin at that time and doctors did not recommend it during the video conference consultation.

Earlier, on april 19, the tihar jail administration submitted a report to delhi Lieutenant governor VK Saxena. In that, the Chief Minister's health was checked on april 10 and april 15. His condition was examined by a pharmacist. But, he prescribed oral anti-diabetics. It was said that the jail administration did not refuse to give insulin to the chief minister. For the past few days, there has been a conflict between the Enforcement Directorate and the aam aadmi party over Arvind Kejriwal's health. The Enforcement Directorate alleged that despite having type-2 diabetes, kejriwal consumed mangoes, aloo puri, and sweets daily to raise his blood sugar levels in order to get medical bail. However, Kejriwal's lawyer denied it and said that kejriwal ate mangoes three times in jail and also consumed aloo puri as a navratri offering. Kejriwal's lawyer gave this information during the hearing on the plea seeking permission to inject insulin in Delhi's Rose Avenue court on the 19th. The Enforcement Directorate, which is investigating the delhi liquor policy case, arrested chief minister arvind kejriwal on march 21. court custody of arvind kejriwal has been extended till the 23rd. Accordingly, it is noted that he has been lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail.
