Withdrawal of closed nominations - Rebels for candidates…
The deadline for withdrawal of nominations for lok sabha, assembly and lok sabha elections in andhra pradesh and telangana has ended. A total of 4,210 nominations were filed for 175 Legislative assembly constituencies and 731 nominations for 25 lok sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. 625 nominations have been registered for 17 lok sabha seats in Telangana. In some places the nominations of independent candidates and rebels have been withdrawn. Madakasira tdp leader sunil Kumar, who had nominated as a rebel, withdrew his nomination as the ticket was changed at the last moment. Also, Paila Prasad, who was initially finalized as a candidate, also withdrew his nomination after Bandaru Satyanarayanamurthy was finalized from Madugula at the last moment. Nujiveedu tdp rebel candidate Muddaraboina Venkateswara Rao also retired from the contest and joined TDP.
