Sources in maharashtra have informed that chief minister Eknath Shinde's party shiv sena will contest elections in Mahayuti on those 5 seats whose candidates have not been announced yet. For the last few weeks, there has been turmoil over the remaining seats in the Grand Alliance. Especially the fight regarding Nashik seat is still going on. However, sources have informed that Shinde's shiv sena will contest elections on all the remaining seats.

Meanwhile, cm Shinde has revealed his cards on mumbai North West seat. shiv sena has fielded ravindra Vaikar as its candidate against Thackeray's Amol Kirtikar.

Rajendra Gavit's name is in discussion from Palghar. He can compete with Bharti Kambdi of thackeray group. However, Mahayuti's candidate has not been announced yet for thane seat, which is considered to be Eknath Shinde's stronghold. thackeray has fielded his loyal Shiv Sainik Rajan Vichare from Thane. However, Mahayuti is yet to declare candidates from thane and Nashik.
