Pet Dog Thrashed With Sticks By Neighbours!!!
A couple and their pet dog sustained grave injuries after a dispute with neighbours triggered an all-out assault on a street in Hyderabad’s Rahmatnagar. The surveillance camera footage shows a group of people thrashing a man walking his dog with sticks and attacking his family members, too. A video of the incident has gone viral on the internet. The caption of the video posted on the ‘Telugu Scribe’ page on social media platform X suggests that the pet dog (a husky) allegedly entered its neighbour Dhanunjay’s and attacked his family members a few days ago.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the indian Penal Code and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and detained five people in the case. In the viral video, the pet owner, Srinath, can be seen walking his dog and stopping to use his phone when Dhanunjay and a few of his friends suddenly attack the duo. Srinath can be seen pleading with Dhanunjay but he intensifies the assault and uses sticks to thrash him. As his wife comes to rescue him, the group of men thrash her, too. The men also thrash Srinath’s other family members, who raise an alarm. Eventually, people in the neighbourhood gather and try to help the family.
