One crore rupees cash and gold found!!!

In Beed district of Maharashtra, police have seized Rs 1.08 crore in cash and gold and jewelery worth Rs 72 lakh from the house of a policeman accused in a corruption case. An official gave this information on Friday. police inspector Haribhau Khade (52) was made an accused in a corruption case on May 15 and has been absconding since then. The anti-corruption bureau (ACB) had registered a case against Khade and two others for allegedly demanding Rs 1 crore for not making the complainant an accused in a case, the official said. The accused later reduced their demand to Rs 30 lakh.

ACB first caught the accused Kushak Jain (29) while taking a bribe of Rs 5 lakh. After getting the warrant, police searched Khade's house in Chanakyapuri area of Beed on thursday and seized Rs 1.08 crore in cash, 970 grams of gold biscuits and jewelery worth Rs 72 lakh and 5.5 kg of silver, the official said. The officer said that the police have also seized property documents related to four flats and a shop of Khada.

Case of fraud by posing as fake police in Mumbai

Eight people, including a serving police constable and a retired constable, have been arrested for looting Rs 25 lakh from a cafe owner by posing as fake crime branch officers. A mumbai police officer gave this information.
