RJD has fielded former assembly Speaker Awadh Bihari Chaudhary by canceling the ticket of Shahabuddin's Begum Hina. Hina has fielded as an independent candidate.

Siwan lok sabha seat has always been in the headlines. Siwan is also the birthplace of the country's first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Siwan parliamentary constituency includes 6 assembly seats. These seats are – Siwan, Jiradei, Darauli, Raghunathpur, Darunda and Barhadiya. Voting is to be held here on 25th May.
