Remal Cyclone: A storm is forming in the Bay of Bengal.. Do you know the name of this?

The Meteorological Department had informed that from 25th to 28th, heavy rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places in Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Dindigul, Theni, Tenkasi, tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts.

The indian Meteorological Department has said that the low pressure area over the Bay of bengal will strengthen and turn into a storm tomorrow morning.  In this case, a low pressure area has formed yesterday in the Southwest Bay of bengal adjacent to the North-East South andhra pradesh coastal areas. Due to this, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal. In this case, the depression formed in the Bay of bengal has turned into a deep depression. It will move northeastward and become a low pressure area tomorrow. After that, the depression will strengthen further and move northeastwards and may develop into a storm on 25th.It is likely to turn into a severe storm and make landfall in West bengal by the evening of May 26. The storm has been named Rimal on the recommendation of Oman. Remaul is the first storm of the year. As the storm moves to the north, it is expected that the rains in tamil Nadu will decrease and the temperature will increase again.
