Kommineni Srinivasa Rao, who has gained recognition as a famous journalist, is well known as KSR. He is also a telugu journalist, writer, and Doordarshan commentator. He also worked in sakshi tv when he was appointed as the Chairman of andhra pradesh Press Academy. When it comes to his personal life, he was born to Kommineni Rama Rao and jayalakshmi in gannavaram, krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. He studied school and college in gannavaram and then completed his M.Com. He has worked in various newspapers for about 33 years. He has also worked as a reporter on tv channels.

He joined eenadu in 1978 and used to write articles in many magazines even before joining there. Kommineni Srinivasa Rao, who worked mainly in Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Hyderabad, held various responsibilities in various newspapers.. serving in various positions as sub-editor, reporter, and chief reporter. He played an important role as a journalist in programs like telugu desam party Mahanadu.   He also worked as the Chief of the eenadu Bureau in Delhi. When the terrorists attacked the Parliament, he also filmed the incident as a news story. Also, when bill gates came to Hyderabad, he published that news and thus gained recognition.

After joining Andhra Jyoti in 2002, he took charge as Bureau Chief of Andhra Jyoti magazine for four and a half years and then joined NTV. Due to differences in the management, he left the channel within a few months and joined tv Five as a political editor. He also worked as an editor for that channel. Later he got good recognition by creating a program called news Scam and interviewing many political leaders. After working there for 2.5 years, he also worked as the chief editor of NTV. Later, he joined sakshi and created a live show with KSR there. He gained more popularity in a short span. He also served as the chairman of andhra pradesh Press Academy and resigned from that post in January. It has become even more surprising that he resigned as the right-hand man of andhra pradesh chief minister Jaganmohan Reddy.

He clarified how much he helped the ycp party and that he was able to explain the governance reforms and welfare programs introduced by chief minister jagan to the public through the face of the press.   During the trips from Anantapur to srikakulam district, he observed the development of infrastructure projects like ports, fishing harbors, and the Uddanan kidney disease research center. Kommineni Srinivasa Rao thanked jagan Mohan reddy for helping him in all matters and said that he has always been indebted to jagan Mohan Reddy. He also clarified that he has resigned due to personal reasons.
