Maharashtra: An under-construction building collapsed during heavy rains in mumbai last night, killing both the security guard and his son. The incident took place around 11:30 pm. The deceased nagesh Reddy was doing his job as a security guard at Kailas business Park in SAIL Parksite, during which his son Rohit reddy came to bring food for him. Then due to heavy rain, he asked his son to stay there, the rain became more intense and suddenly some slabs and iron rods of the under-construction building fell on them. Both father and son died on the spot.

Regarding this, officials have said that immediately after the incident, people present there informed the mumbai fire Brigade. After this, the fire brigade reached the spot, and started rescue work. It is said that an iron beam and a part of a slab of the under-construction building broke and fell on the deceased. It has been raining in mumbai for many days. Regarding the weather there, IMD has said that there will be rain with strong winds in mumbai, thane and Raigad districts for the next 3-4 hours. The wind speed can be 62-87 km per hour. Along with this, there is also a possibility of lightning.
