The first formal meeting of all the constituent parties of the opposition Grand Alliance will be held in patna on thursday (April 17) regarding the bihar elections to be held later this year, in which leaders of RJD, congress, Left parties, VIP will be present. It will be led by Tejashwi Yadav.

Seat sharing discussed in the meeting

According to sources, a coordination committee can be formed in this meeting to discuss the seat sharing and other election campaigns. During Tejashwi Yadav's meeting with congress President Kharge and rahul gandhi in delhi on Tuesday, an agreement was reached to complete the mutual talks regarding seats as soon as possible.

Sources say that the prominent leaders of all the parties will discuss among themselves and make a strategy for each seat. There can also be a discussion about the potential candidates of each other's party. It will be ensured that the mistake of the last assembly elections is not repeated this time. Seat sharing in the Grand Alliance is not going to be easy. Out of the total 243 seats, RJD wants to contest 150 seats.

In the Left Front, CPIML is demanding more seats than last time on the basis of better performance. Despite the pressure, congress wants around 70 seats like last time. RJD has to give some seats to VIP party and possibly to Pashupati Paras's party as well. However, according to sources, after mutual agreement on seats, a joint strategy will also be made for issues and publicity. It is certain that Tejashwi Yadav will be the cm face from the Mahagathbandhan against Nitish Kumar. However, its formal announcement will be made at the right time.

Effort to give a message of unity

congress sources say that it is clear that Tejashwi Yadav is leading the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar. There is no dispute between the two parties. Rather, in order to put an end to the news of mutual differences in the last few days, Tejashwi's meeting with the congress high command was held in delhi and a message of unity was given. At present, the biggest and real challenge is the distribution of seats among themselves.
