PDP chief mehbooba mufti has expressed concern while reacting to the firing from Pakistan.
mehbooba mufti wrote on social media, "After the horror of the pahalgam attack, I thought I had seen the full extent of the tragedy, but today when I saw the heartbreaking picture of innocent children killed in the firing of India-Pakistan tension, I realized that the worst is probably yet to come."

The PDP chief further wrote, "When there is no end to revenge, the voiceless, helpless people pay its unbearable price. Their snatched future becomes a wound whose pain is beyond words."
Terror due to firing near LoC
According to the PTI report, officials said that all the civilians died in Poonch district, the worst affected by the shelling. 42 people have also been injured here, some of whom are said to be in critical condition. The indiscriminate shelling by pakistan caused panic among the border residents and forced them to take refuge in underground bunkers or move to safer places within or outside their villages.

Shelling was reported from Balakot, Mendhar, Mankot, krishna Ghati, Gulpur, Kerni and even Poonch district headquarters near the Line of Control in Poonch, due to which many houses and vehicles have suffered heavy damage.
