
The festival of Bakrid will be celebrated across the country on saturday (7 June). Earlier, All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) national spokesperson Waris Pathan met maharashtra chief minister devendra fadnavis on wednesday (4 June) regarding Bakrid. He said that cm fadnavis has assured that celebrations are allowed peacefully while following the guidelines.
Waris Pathan said, "We met maharashtra chief minister devendra fadnavis and discussed the organization of Bakrid. Our main issue was that the law and order situation should be maintained in the state on the day of the festival and the Municipal Corporation should be alert about cleanliness."
'Rules should be followed'
He told that before this he had also gone to Bakra Mandi, communicated with the management there. The issue of loudspeaker was also discussed. Everyone should follow the supreme Court's order, but some people are roaming from street to street and scaring people.
'CM gave assurance'
Pathan said, "The circular issued from 3 pm to 8 pm has been withdrawn. The chief minister has assured us that permission has been given to celebrate Bakrid peacefully and joyfully under the guidelines." On the letter and case related to Justice Yashwant Verma, he said, "I myself am a lawyer, and I am with the lawyers of mumbai in whatever they have said. Everyone should work within the ambit of the Constitution and law. It is the duty of all of us to follow the rules and the justice system."

On the recent statement of leader of Opposition in lok sabha rahul Gandhi, the AIMIM spokesperson said, "In our party meeting also, our president had clearly said that whatever concrete steps the government of india takes against terrorism, we will support it. We are proud of our soldiers. But at the same time, it is our constitutional right to ask questions."
