Sharad Pawar faction party leader Rohit Pawar in maharashtra has cornered the ruling party over 'Operation Sindoor'. He has alleged that the people in power are doing politics on this issue and want to take credit for this military action. He clearly said that the credit for the success of 'Operation Sindoor' should go to the defense forces.
NCP (SP) mla Rohit Pawar, while talking to news agency IANS, said, "There are many leaders in the government who are in power and who are unfortunately doing politics about 'Operation Sindoor', they should not do this. It is not like one person took a decision and the action of 'Operation Sindoor' was successful."
Credit for 'Operation Sindoor' should go only to the defense forces - Rohit
He further said, "If you are a big leader, you are in power and you took a decision, it does not happen like that. There are very different calculations in it, which are done through the defense forces. Whatever credit is to be given should be given only to the defense forces. The people of the Army, Navy and air Force should get the credit but the way the people in power are giving speeches, talking on TV, they are saying as if they have done everything. Actually, this does not happen.''
'Politics about defense is not good for the future'
Rohit Pawar also said, 'Neither the people in power nor the people in the opposition should do politics on issues like 'Operation Sindoor'. The issues related to defense should be kept away from politics because the more we do politics about defense, it is not good for the future of the country.'' On the other hand, 16 opposition parties including congress have written a letter to PM Modi regarding the pahalgam terrorist attack and 'Operation Sindoor'. Opposition parties wrote a joint letter to the prime minister demanding a special session of parliament on 'Operation Sindoor'.
