Social media platforms like instagram and Snapchat are proving to be increasingly dangerous for minor girls. Cases of befriending girls, forcing them to share objectionable pictures and then blackmailing and sexually harassing them on the basis of these pictures are increasing. A similar case has come to light in Mumbai, where a man befriended a minor girl on Snapchat and then started blackmailing her.

The accused had befriended the minor on Snapchat just 11 days ago. After this, he obtained her objectionable pictures. The accused allegedly threatened to make the victim's objectionable pictures viral and also sent them to her father, after which a case has been registered against a man named arjun at the Antop Hill police Station.

Threatened the father

Actually, the father of the 15-year-old girl received a call from an unknown person on May 30, in which the accused threatened him, saying, "I have objectionable pictures of your 15-year-old daughter, if your daughter does not stop talking to a boy named Ayush, I will make her pictures viral."

Threatened to make the pictures viral

After this threat, the person sent three objectionable pictures and an objectionable video of the girl to her father, which shocked the father, he pleaded with the person not to make his daughter's pictures viral and assured him that he would talk to his daughter.
