On May 25, a team of noida police went to Ghaziabad's Mussoorie police station area to arrest an accused. The accused Qadir son Khurshid was a resident of Nahal village of Thana Mussoorie area and the police was looking for him in many cases. At around 11 pm on May 25, Sub-Inspector Sachin rathi of Phase-3 police station of noida Commissionerate reached his village with his team, but the situation deteriorated during the raid.

In this attack, Constable Saurabh was shot in the head, due to which he died on the spot. Other constable Sonit was injured in this attack. So far more than 10 accused have been arrested in this incident, including the cousin of the main accused Qadir.
