A day after the horrific plane crash in ahmedabad, gujarat on thursday, chief minister Bhupendra patel on friday described the incident as extremely sad, which cannot be described in words. Bhupendra patel wrote on the social media platform X, "The plane crash in ahmedabad was beyond words and also sad. In this hour of grief, gujarat stood with courage and sympathy with the affected families."

The chief minister said, "Under the guidance of prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister amit shah, the state government carried out relief work with immediate sensitivity. The Army, NDRF, SDRF, RAF, police and fire Brigade joined the relief work shortly after the incident. More than 600 firefighters and more than 100 ambulances were deployed for quick medical evacuation. A special green corridor was created to take the injured to the hospital on time." ' 24×7 control rooms are working'

He said that after the accident, expert medical teams, IAS officers, SEOC unit, dna experts and counselors are continuously engaged in rescue, treatment, identification and emotionally supporting the bereaved families. 24×7 control rooms are working in Civil Hospital and SEOC. Shelter, transport and communication support has been provided to the families of the victims.

Bhupendra patel said that with seamless cooperation between central and state agencies, gujarat has demonstrated its commitment to stand firmly in a crisis with humanity, efficiency and unwavering resolve.

' The reason for the plane crash is expected to be revealed soon

He said that on thursday (13 June), an air india plane carrying 242 people from ahmedabad to london crashed seconds after takeoff from the ahmedabad runway. The plane fell on a medical institute. The institute has suffered huge damage to the infrastructure as well as humanly due to the fall of the plane. The investigation into the matter is ongoing and the reason for the plane crash is expected to be revealed soon.
