Speaking at the Big beautiful Bill event held at the white house in Washington, DC, USA, President donald trump said, "Many people want to be part of deals. A few months ago, the press asked, 'Are you really interested?' We signed a deal with china yesterday. He also said that there is a possibility of a "very big" trade deal with india soon. At the same time, we are going to make a big deal with india soon. As we improve trade with india, the deal with china will also come into effect at the same time."
He also said, "We will not make deals with all countries. We will only send letters to some countries and ask them to accept higher tariff rates. This is the easy way, but my people do not want this. They want to accept some deals. But they say they do not want more deals than I think."Trump did not disclose the details of the deal with china in detail. However, CNN reported that in early June, peace was reached in the US-China trade war and a new deal was signed. The two countries have agreed to ease export restrictions and promote trade. This trade war ceasefire has brought temporary relief to global markets, businesses, and consumers who have been reeling from months of tariff hikes and growing uncertainty.

Win-win for both countries: Speaking at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum earlier this month, US Commerce Secretary Howard Ludnick said, "The trade deal with india is nearing completion and it will be beneficial for both countries. I believe that this deal will be done very soon because we have found something that will benefit both countries."  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President donald trump had agreed to sign this deal soon when they met in february 2025, and he said that this is a very important opportunity for the growth of trade between the two countries. The agreement is expected to further strengthen the close partnership between the US and India.
