How many amendments have been made in the Constitution so far?
In the 75-year history of the indian Constitution, it has been amended about 106 times so far. The first amendment in this was made on 18 june 1951, while the last amendment was the 106th, which was made on 28 september 2023. This included the provision of making one-third of the mandatory membership of women in the lok sabha and the state assemblies.
