Thirukarthigai Deepam 2022..! Lighting timings..!

Karthigai Day which falls in the month of Karthigai is a festival celebrated by Tamils more critically than other Karthigai days. In the evening they celebrate by lighting lamps outside the houses and in the courtyards. The Deepam festival is held in temples on Karthigai day. Devotees worship by lighting lamps. In front of the temple, a banana tree is planted and surrounded by palm fronds and the "Sokkapanai" is set on fire to make it appear in the form of Jodhi and worshipers remember the scene in which Lord shiva appeared as Jodhi. They worship by decorating the houses with lamps and floating the houses in a flood of light.

Kumaralaya Deepam: Celebrated in Murugan temples. In the month of Karthiga, the day on which the star of Karthigai gathers.

Vittinuvalaya Deepam: Celebrated in Vittinu temples. The day when rohini Nakshatra gathers in the month of Karthigai.

Sarvalaya Deepam: Celebrated in other Hindu temples and homes. Full Tithi of Karthikai month.
Generally, we say that all the days of the month of Kartika should light a lamp at the door of the house because it is the month that makes the world realize that the Lord is in the form of light. In this way, the main event of this festival, which started on november 27 with flag hoisting, will be the lighting of bharani Deepam at the Annamalaiyar shrine at 4 am on december 6. Accordingly, in the Tiruvannamalai Annamalaiyar temple premises, bharani Deepam was lit early this morning for Shivacharyas to chant Vedic mantras.

Karthika Deepam's lighting time:
This year Karthigai Deepatri day falls on december 06. Also at Thiruvannamalai, the darshan of Panchamurthys will be held after 5.30 pm. First Vinayagar, then Murugan, followed by Annamalaiyar, then Ntnamulaiyamman, and lastly Ardhanareeswarar will appear in the form of Ananda Thandavamadai.
Ardhanareeswarar will go back in a minute he comes out of the temple. After seeing his darshan the flag will be waved. The next moment it is seen, at exactly 6 PM, the maha Deepam will be lit on the top of the hill. After watching this spectacle, the Deepam should be lit in the houses at 6.05. Deepam should be lit in the houses by 6.30 pm. At least 27 of our houses should be lit. Deepam should be lit for 3 consecutive days. This Deepam should be lit in all places like the door of the house, the entrance of the house, the Puja room, the bedroom, and the kitchen as far as possible.
