A Hindu temple has been vandalized for the third time within 15 days on Australian soil. Anti-Hindu and Khalistan supporters have targeted the Hare krishna Temple in Melbourne's Albert Park area. The international Society for krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple is also known as the famous centre of the Bhakti yoga Movement in Melbourne.

ISKCON temple's communications director Bhakta Das told, "We are deeply saddened and angered by this brutal disrespect of the place of worship." Shivesh Pandey, a devotee of the iskcon temple and IT consultant, said, in the last two weeks, the victoria Police has failed to take stern action against those who are running their hate-filled agenda against the peaceful Hindu community.

An emergency meeting was called two days ago

The attack on the iskcon temple came two days after an emergency meeting of Victorian multi-faith leaders with the Victorian Multicultural Commission. According to news reports, the commission issued a statement condemning the vandalism of Hindu temples in Mill Park and Carrom Downs.

Demolition started on january 12

Earlier on january 12, anti-India slogans were written on the walls after the BAPS Swaminarayan temple was vandalized in the Mill Park area of Melbourne. After this, the Shri shiva Vishnu temple in Carrom Downs was also ransacked. The vandalism was discovered on january 16, when devotees visited the temple during the three-day-long 'Thai Pongal' festival of the tamil Hindu community in Australia.
