Maharshi' is going to get a release in tamil under the name 'Rishi'. The movie will be distributed by Badrakali Prasath under the Badrakali film banner. The movie will be dubbed by famous tamil dubbing artists. This dubbed version will have a direct OTT release.

The movie was a huge success in the telugu version and now the makers have planned to release it in Tamil. Recently, Sundeep Kishan's 'Tenali Ramakrishna' got dubbed in tamil as 'Naveena Tenali'.
