Popular malayalam tv actor Adithyan Jayan has attempted suicide by slashing his veins on his hand. Also, he had taken a heavy dose of sleeping pills before cutting his hand. The actor who married his co-star from their first serial ‘Seetha’ Amibili Devi is currently facing allegations from her for cheating on her.

The actor was reportedly found in his car with slashed veins in thrissur on sunday evening. The locals who saw him in serious condition immediately rushed him to the thrissur government hospital. He was admitted in ICU and his condition is said to be critical.

A close source of the hospital said, "The patient had taken a high dosage of sleeping pills and we have started the process for a stomach wash. There is a wound in his wrist, which we are consulting with the surgeon for further treatment. The patient is a bit drowsy but he is responsive. We can share further updates only after 24 - 48 hours of observation."

Very recently, his actor wife Ambili Devi alleged that Adithyan has cheated on her. She said that he demanded divorce from her. She also said that he passed death warnings to her. However, Adithyan denied all the allegations and requested her not to use such false allegations to defame him in public.

The couple tied the knot in 2019 and they had a boy named Arjun.
