Vecna is presumed to have survived the attack by Robin Buckely (Maya Hawke), Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer), and Steve Harrington, despite the fact that his fate was left unresolved in the season 4 finale (Joe Keery). Vecna was shot many times and burned by Molotov cocktails; as a result of the nature of his wounds, the beast will be even more deformed in the upcoming season. Vecna's design may or may not alter significantly in Stranger Things season 5, but given Gower and his team's meticulousness and commitment, they are more than capable of producing yet another horrific antagonist.
A fresh behind-the-scenes video Vecna's fantastic special effects makeup and prosthetics are described in the Stranger Things season 4 video. The adolescent heroes of Hawkins, Indiana, once again square off against a malevolent presence from the otherworldly realm known as the Upside Down in this episode, which takes place six months after the Battle of Starcourt in season 3. This time, a horrifying telepathic entity by the name of Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) stalks and terrorises his victims before using his mind abilities to slaughter them mercilessly. In a telekinetic duel with Eleven, he was revealed to be Henry Creel, Dr. Brenner's (Matthew Modine) first victim of his evil experiments on young children. He was then sent into the Upside Down. He was changed into a terrible and monstrous shape by the struggle and following interdimensional trip.
