Son of an Anganwadi Worker bags Rs 1.8 Crore Job!!!
Bisakh Mondal, a student of Jadavpur University, Kolkata, recently made headlines for getting a job with facebook in london with an annual package of Rs 1.8 crore. Mondal also passed interviews with google and amazon but turned down both companies for the facebook offer. He told india Today that I thought it would be best to choose facebook as the salary package offered by them was high. Cracking the interviews of three tech companies in the world is a big deal in itself.
Cracking the interviews of facebook, google and amazon is not an easy task and Bisakh told The indian Express, “During the Covid-19 pandemic in the last two years, I got an opportunity to do internships in many organizations and I was out of the syllabus. It helped a lot in gathering knowledge. Due to this, I was successful in cracking the interview.
According to the indian Express report, this is the highest salary package received by a JU student this year. Earlier, 9 JU students from various engineering departments secured jobs abroad with salary packages of more than Rs 1 crore.
Bisakh's mother, who is an Anganwadi worker, said that he "has been a brilliant student since childhood". We struggled a lot for him to achieve more heights. He has always been serious about his studies.
