Steps to close paytm Fastag & shift to another bank..!?

 How to close your account in paytm FASTag and how to open an account in another bank in this package. Immediately after closing your paytm FASTag, you can apply online for another bank FASTag.

Discontinued paytm FASTag Services:
RBI has ordered paytm Payments bank to no longer continue its services based on allegations of non-compliance. Subsequently, the service provided to paytm ended on the 15th. In this case, if you are using FASTag issued by paytm Payments bank (PPBL), you will no longer be able to use it. You can't use the money already in that FASTag account. There is no option but to close that account. How to do it is described below.
How to Close paytm Payments bank FASTAG:

Open the paytm app on your mobile
 An option "FASTag Management" will appear in the search box
 Under "FASTag Management", details of all vehicles linked to your FASTag will appear.
There a “Close FASTag” button will appear on the top right side of the page, click on it.
Select the vehicle you want to close FASTag Now.
 Click the "Continue" button. Wait for the confirmation message to appear on the mobile screen.
 The FASTag account will be closed in 5 to 7 working days.

How to close paytm Fastag and switch to another bank?

You can apply online for another bank FASTag immediately after closing your FASTag account with Paytm. The new FASTag details will reach your address within 7 working days. If you find it difficult to apply online, you can go to the nearest customs office. There are FASTag vendors near all toll booths. They will activate your new Fastag account immediately.
