The world's well-known artificial intelligence company OpenAI has now added its most advanced model GPT-4.1 to the ChatGPT app. Earlier this model was available only for API users, but now common users will also be able to take advantage of it through ChatGPT. After this new update, ChatGPT users will get better answers, faster speed and more smartness in long conversations. The special thing is that both Plus and Free users will get the benefit of this update, just the model for them will be slightly different.
What is GPT-4.1 and why is it special?
GPT-4.1 is considered to be OpenAI's most powerful AI model till date. It has been specially designed for better coding, understanding instructions correctly and remembering long messages or conversations.

Also, GPT-4.1 can now understand and remember long conversations or texts up to 1 million tokens, which was not possible earlier.
What will Free and Plus users get?
OpenAI has decided to provide GPT-4.1 or its mini version for all users. Users with ChatGPT Plus, Pro and Team plans will now get access to both GPT-4.1 and GPT-4.1 Mini. This means that these users will now be able to get even smarter, faster and deeper answers. Free users will soon be given GPT-4.1 mini, which is much faster and cheaper than the earlier GPT-4o Mini. Users with Enterprise and Edu plans will get this update in the coming weeks.
