Who is Vijayapriya Nithyananda who arrived at the United Nations dressed in saffron?

These days a picture of the United Nations (UN) is becoming very viral on social media. In this, a woman is seen dressed in saffron cloth, wearing a rudraksha rosary around her neck and keeping her hair tied like a sadhvi. This woman is none other than the disciple of India's fugitive Nityananda. Nithyananda has been accused of rape in India. After escaping from here, Nithyananda bought an island near the American country of ecuador and declared it a 'Hindu nation'. This country has been named 'The United Nation Kailasa'.

Well, the name of Nityananda's disciple going viral is Vijayapriya Nityananda. It was earlier claimed that Vijayapriya is the Permanent Representative of Kailasa to the United Nations (UN). Let's know who is this Vijayapriya? Has UN really given recognition to Kailasa country?

Before knowing Vijayapriya Nityananda, know Nityananda. Nityananda's name is Rajasekhara. It has given itself the status of God. He is originally from Thirunamalai in tamil Nadu. Nithyananda has many cases registered including rape, kidnapping of children. In 2019, Nithyananda fled the country and bought an island near the American country of ecuador and declared it a separate country. This country has been named 'The United Nation Kailasa'. Nityananda says that Kailasa is the nation of the Hindus.

Two days ago, during a meeting at the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, Vijayapriya Nithyananda and several of her colleagues were seen wearing saffron clothes. During this, Vijayapriya spewed a lot of venom against India. Vijayapriya spoke during a discussion organized by the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) and demanded protection for the "Supreme Bishop of Hinduism". Said that Nithyananda is being persecuted and banned in the country of his birth for reviving the ancient traditions of Hinduism.

Clad in sari and turban and decked in jewellery, Vijayapriya Nithyananda introduces herself as the 'Permanent Ambassador of Kailasa to the United States' at a UN meeting. However, later the United Nations made it clear that Vijayapriya had participated in the program as an NGO. The United Nations has said that it will ignore the words of the representative of the fictional country of a fugitive indian guru in two of its programs in Geneva. A UN official has said that the representative's speech was irrelevant to the topics being discussed at the meeting.

According to Vijayapriya Nityananda's facebook profile, she lives in Washington. A large tattoo of Nithyananda can be seen on Vijayapriya's right arm in their pictures uploaded on social media platforms. According to Vijayapriya's LinkedIn profile, she holds a BSc Honors in Microbiology from the university of Manitoba. She was included in the university's Dean's Honor List in june 2014. The LinkedIn profile further mentions that Vijayapriya knows four languages – English, French, Hindi, Creole and Pidgin (French-based).

When the protest against the statement made against india started, first the United Nations Organization and then Vijayapriya herself presented a clarification. Vijayapriya kept her point through a video. Said that united states of Kailasa holds india in high regard and considers india as its Gurupeedam.

To know this, we checked the website of UN. In which there is no mention of Kailasa. When there was a controversy over Vijayapriya's statement, the United Nations also addressed Kailasa as an 'imaginary country' in the statement issued. It is clear that Kailasa has not been given any recognition by the United Nations, nor has Vijayapriya been given the status of permanent representative in the UN.
