dj Tillu, a humorous crime comedy starring siddhu Jonnalagadda's young hero, debuted earlier this year and quickly became a surprise blockbuster at the box office, earning more than Rs 30 crore globally. The sequel to the movie was released in the final week of june so that the producers could capitalise on the huge popularity. For the eagerly anticipated sequel, siddhu and filmmaker vimal Krishna, with whom he collaborated on the original writing for dj Tillu, worked together once more.

However, even though filming is set to begin in August, a surprise setback has suddenly struck the crew. The most recent rumours in the movie industry state that siddhu Jonnalagadda and vimal had irreconcilable creative differences and vimal had to leave the sequel. According to rumours, there was a sort of cold war between siddhu and vimal that eventually forced the director to leave the project.

In addition to writing the script and directing the sequel, siddhu was reportedly responsible for ghost directing a significant section of dj Tillu. vimal Krishna, who was keen to make a name for himself using his talent, doesn't seem to have taken this well. According to the most recent rumour, a new director has joined the undertaking to take over Vimal's duties. The creators are anticipated to release a formal announcement in this regard. The sequel is being produced by sithara Entertainment, with funding provided by naga Vamshi and starring Neha Shetty, Prince, and brahmaji in the key roles.
