Delhi leader minister rekha Gupta stated on sunday that multiple projects Rs 24,000 crores have been accredited via the center to reduce pollutants and streamline traffic in delhi and its adjacent regions.
This can include a five-km tunnel between Shiv Murti-Mahipalpur (Dwarka limited-access highway) and nelson mandela Road (Vasant Kunj).
The tasks, which had been authorized in the course of a current meeting with Union minister of Road Shipping and Highways it in Gadkari, will start from early next 12 months. The tunnel between Dwarka Freeway and Vasant Kunj might be constructed through the countrywide Highways Authority of india (NHAI) at an estimated fee of Rs 3,500 crore.
The challenge will include the construction of two underground tubes, with each tube having three lanes, in order to offer a sign-free change of of course between South delhi and Dwarka/Gurugram.
Moreover, the tunnel may be geared up with facilities like ventilation, hearth protection, CCTV, electro mechanical structures, surveillance, control rooms, cross passages,, and emergency exits for green touring. She defined that the tunnel will assist in easing site visitors'' congestion on Rangpuri, Dhaula Kuan, Rao Tula ram Marg, and national toll road forty-eight (NH-48).
