On this, Disha revealed that she was surprised as she had not planned it. Disha also shared that rahul was not in mumbai and she gave him the good news by video calling him.

Disha said, "He was a surprise because it was not planned to be honest. rahul had gone for a show somewhere in goa and I video-called him to give him the news. He was very happy. love the kids a lot."
Disha further revealed that rahul always wanted children and was very open about it. Disha also shared that he proves to be a helpful father, as he already accompanies her to all her appointments without asking her in advance. She added, "He was very vocal about wanting kids. So, I think he was the happiest and would make a helpful father, because he accompanies me to my appointments, the hospital and everywhere without saying I didn't ask him even once, can you come?"
Rahul Vaidya also told his reaction on the news of Disha's pregnancy
Earlier, in an interview with 'Hindustan Times', rahul had shared that he always wanted to embrace fatherhood. Though it was unexpected news for him, he is trying to sink in the feeling of soon becoming a father. He had revealed that he was in goa and when he came back to mumbai, Disha told him about her pregnancy and he was taken by surprise.
