For the second time, Elon Musk-owned tesla has reduced the pricing of all of its electric vehicles in the US, possibly in an effort to increase sales before the quarter's conclusion. The company reportedly reduced the cost of both its Model S sedan and Model X SUV, according to TechCrunch. The price of the Model S all-wheel drive has dropped to $89,990 from $94,990, a 5.2% decrease or roughly $5,000, while the price of the Model S plaid has dropped to $1,09,990 from $1,14,990, a 4.3% decrease.

Moreover, the Plaid is now priced at $1,09,990, down 8.3 percent from $1,19,990, while the Model X all-wheel drive is now available for $99,990, down 9.1 percent or $10,000 from $109,990, according to the source. In an effort to increase sales after its stock fell more than 60% in January, tesla substantially reduced the cost of all of its electric vehicles throughout its lineup in the US and Europe. The Model 3 RWD, the least cost EV, has seen a price drop from $46,990 to $43,990, while the Model Y Long Range had a 20% price drop from $65,990 to $52,990.

Several models also had their prices reduced, such as the performance Model 3 and Model Y as well as the plaid Model S and Model X.
