The Bahujan Mukti party is demanding a Bharat Bandh on May 25. A campaign is being run on social media. The All india Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation has called for a Bharat Bandh on May 25. Bahujan Mukti party (BMP) saharanpur district president Neeraj Dhiman says that the demand for Bharat Bandh is being made because the central government did not conduct a caste-based census of OBCs. Apart from this, there are many demands which need to be discussed. We are demanding Bharat Bandh raise the voice of the people.

The BMP president also raised issues related to the use of EVMs in elections and the unheard of demand for reservation for backward classes in the private sector. Due to this, people are now being appealed to to make Bharat Bandh a success.

Why has there been a demand for Bharat Bandh on May 25?

Regarding the irregularities related to EVM in elections

Non-conduct of caste based census of OBC by the central government

- Non-implementation of reservation for SC-ST and OBC in private sectors

-Not making a law related to guaranteed MSP to farmers

To raise voice against NRC/CAA/NPR

- To start the old pension scheme system again

- Opposing labor laws made against workers secretly in lockdown

Those who are running this campaign related to Bharat Bandh on social media have appealed to the people to close their shops and public vehicles etc. on May 25.
