The ongoing Enforcement Directorate inquiry into the alleged hawala money transactions by casino dealer Chikoti praveen Kumar that violated the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) appears to be actually targeted at fixing key telangana rashtra samithi politicians. The ED officials reportedly obtained enough evidence regarding Chikoti's connections to prominent people, including numerous trs leaders and celebrities, during the three days of intensive questioning of Chikoti.

The whatsapp communication and talks between Chikoti and several trs leaders about the financial transactions and their involvement in hawala deals were deciphered by the ED authorities, who confiscated Chikoti's mobile phones and hard drives. According to information obtained by the ED, four trs leaders who had regular contact with Chikoti—three MLAs and a minister—had been named. According to sources, they will probably give them warnings to appear before the agency for questioning.

During the investigation, it was discovered that the politicians and members of their families participated in extensive hawala transactions while attending casino events hosted by Chikoti in nepal and other countries. The identities of at least 20 public representatives, largely from the trs and the ysr congress party in Andhra Pradesh, were reportedly discovered in Chikoti's mobile data, in addition to these four trs leaders. They include current MLAs and MLCs from hyderabad, Nizamabad, Medak, and Warangal, as well as the brother of a well-known hyderabad public figure and another trs leader who runs a cooperative bank.
