Even though the writing for pallavi sharda and Suraj Sharma's characters isn't the best for developing their romance, they have lovely chemistry. There is plenty to make the audience smile at these two, though. All anyone can ask for in a romantic situation is for their interactions to feel natural. If the main coupling doesn't click, the whole thing comes apart. Sharda and Sharma both benefit from playing equally prominent characters that are well-written and well-developed in the film. Wedding Season would have been ideal if there had been fewer montages and more footage of them getting to know one another.
Although the writing by Shiwani Srivastava is brief and to the point, the detail and honesty that pervade it all enhance the whole experience. Although tom Dey does a respectable job as a director, his work is disappointingly average and to be anticipated from Netflix. Cinematographer meena Singh deserves praise for giving the entire production a hint of that cinematic polish so that it doesn't feel as lifeless as many other Netflix rom-coms. The production design by Danielle Sahota is essential in making each scene appear to have been shot in a real hotel or office complex. Each location has a vibrancy that makes the story come to life. A lot of work has gone into creating a funny and insightful family comedy for the audience to enjoy.
