Telugu film industry has recently experienced a string of blockbuster movies, with titles like Bimbisara, SitaRamam, karthikeya 2, and Oke Oka Jeevitham receiving a tonne of great press following their releases. The same is anticipated from this Friday's releases as well, as three movies were already released. However, it appears that nobody will likely succeed in winning the game.

This past friday saw the releases of the films Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali by Sudheer Babu, Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavadni by kiran Abbavaram, and Saakini Daakini by Regina-Nivetha. However, none of the films received a favourable review or even an above average box office response. The second half of Sudheer Babu's Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali picks up, but the first half is so slow that by then we've already lost interest.

The same is true of Regina-Saakini Nivetha's Daakini in that humour was attempted where it wasn't necessary and serious narration was lacking when it was. The remainder looks downright comical, with the exception of the action moments during the climax and a few scenes at the police school. Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavadni by kiran Abbavaram is a complete failure because the general material is neither interesting nor compelling. In order to thrive at the box office like his debut film, which received positive reviews on the OTT stream, the hero must drastically shift his thoughts and writings. Overdosing on mass aspects like in a normal 90s masala film is an absolute no-no for the current audience.
