Saidai Sadiq, the leader of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), has since apologised for calling the bjp politicians who were actors in the past "items." After taking to twitter to write about her party leader's disparaging remarks, mp Kanimozhi was tagged by bjp leader Khusbhu, who then issued an apologies. Saidai Sadiq, the leader of the DMK, apologised and stated he did not mean to upset any leaders when Kanimozhi's response on twitter was met with an apology.
Sadiq apologised for his prior remark and claimed he didn't wish to offend any leaders, including Kushbu. But he questioned why there was no response to the statements made by the bjp leadership. "DMK ministers were referred to as pigs and animals by TN bjp president Annamalai. He likened reporters to monkeys. Sadai Sadiq questioned, "Why are these bjp politicians not commenting about this?
