Andhra Pradesh's Kapu politics are heating up as a result of a verbal battle between two competing groups loyal to the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress party, led by Y S jagan Mohan Reddy, and the Jana Sena Party, led by Pawan Kalyan. For the past few days, pawan kalyan has come under assault from Kapu leaders in the YSRC for choosing to form an alliance with the telugu Desam Party. State industries Minister gudivada amarnath is leading this group from the front, questioning the propriety of the power star for siding with Naidu, whom he perceives as being anti-Kapu.

Instead of Pawan Kalyan, veteran Kapu leader and former mp Ch Venkata Harirama Jogaiah responded angrily to Amarnath's remarks. In a sharp letter to amarnath, he accused him of serving as Jagan's pawn. He doubted Amarnath's status as a Kapu leader. amarnath responded in kind, claiming that Jogaiah ought to have criticised pawan kalyan for becoming Naidu's puppet in a brief letter. I pray to god for the senior leader's good health and sound mind, he remarked.

In response, Jogaiah charged amarnath with bringing chandrababu naidu into the altercation in an effort to drive a gap between pawan kalyan and Kapus. He claimed that because jagan had not implemented a 5% Economically Weaker Sections Quota for the Kapus, they would not vote for him in 2024. On Tuesday, the industries minister sent Jogaiah a stern letter in which he once more singled out pawan kalyan and the seasoned politician. He wanted to know if he agreed with Pawan Kalyan's decision to team up with chandrababu naidu, who is suspected of orchestrating the murder of well-known Kapu leader Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga. He claimed that he had no desire to sow discord among the Kapus.
