Now, a group of 23 doctors has moved to supreme court and they have demanded the postponement of INICET 2021 exams which are currently scheduled to happen on the 16th of June. This exam will be conducted by the All india Institute of Medical Sciences. More than 75000 candidates will be appearing for the exam and as it is fixed within a very short period and currently all the doctors, frontline workers are busy with COVID duties it is tough for them to prepare and appear for the examinations.

A petition has been filed on sc through advocate Pallavi Prathap. They have filed a petition mentioning PM Modi has postponed the NEET PG exam and he also notified all PG exams will be conducted only after the month of august 2021. In the current situation, many of the doctors are not completely vaccinated and some of them have not even received their first dosage of vaccine.

So conducting the exams on the 16th of this month is impossible. In their petition, they have also mentioned that this could result in endangering the lives of several doctors who are working in various hospitals. This is like an entrance examination to join PG courses in some leading medical universities in India. For the admission of 800 seats, more than 75000 candidates appear every year.
