indian Prime minister Narendra Modi addresses the Nation as india continues to battle against the second wave of the deadly virus. PM Modi monitored several aspects regarding the second wave and a possibility of an upcoming third wave. Earlier, he addressed the Nation on the 20th of April. During his current speech, PM Modi clarified that there won't be any Nationwide lockdown and states can impose lockdown based on the number of fresh cases.
PM Modi said india has fought against the second wave bravely and several states have already begun the unlocking process. Modi also said india continues research on a Nasal spray vaccine and if it ends successfully that could really boost India's vaccination campaign to a higher level. Modi also assured india would get various vaccines in the coming days and there won't be any shortage.
Modi also revealed that 7 firms in india are in the process of manufacturing vaccines of various types and among them, 3 are in a well-advanced stage. PM Modi also extended his condolences to all the families who lost their dead ones in this COVID battle. Modi announced that FREE Vaccines will be given to all the states for everyone above 18 years of age and this would begin from june 21st.
