There are several talks going on in tamil Nadu that the ruling DMK government is planning to impose a complete lockdown once again and as a start, they have imposed full lockdown in 9 main areas of chennai city. cm MK stalin had talks with tamil Nadu health Department and he is initiating talks with all district collectors to impose a full-fledged lockdown in tamil Nadu. 


For the past 4 months, both the state and central Governments are imposing several lockdown measures and due to all the essential steps there has been a steady decrease in COVID cases, but still, the arrival of 3rd wave has caused a huge panic due to the destruction caused by the second wave of pandemics. 


Now, there is a sudden increase in the number of positive cases in india for the past few days and even though kerala is to be blamed as they are accounting for 50% of the cases, other states are also slowly witnessing a small increase in positive cases and this has been an alarming state. tamil Nadu government has now decided to impose a full-fledged lockdown and various talks are happening with the health department and if the cases don't subside after the 9th of August, there might be high chances for a complete lockdown in the state.
